Columba Livia "As We Go" | Don't Flunk Me Recor
top of page

The first single of the year from Columba Livia, "As We Go", will be released digitally on April 22, 2022 via  Spotify and Apple Music. Recorded at the Santa Rosa Junior College's campus studio in Petaluma,  California, "As We Go" is a driving lullaby that conjures up a heavy melodious nature with echoes to such  notable acts as The Pixies and Crumb. Lyrically subversive yet tenderly soulful "As We Go" puts into  question the age old notion of finding love.

The newest rendition of Columba Livia represents our deepest emotions through heartbreak and  transformation. After releasing their triumphantly deep sophomore release, Midnight Reveals, in the Fall  of 2021 (which you can listen to here), "As We Go" will be their first signed release under their new record  deal with Don't Flunk Me Records, a student run record label based out of Sonoma County, California. With their recent writeup from the Portland, Oregon independent online publication, Split Tooth Media,  Columba Livia is casting their contagious mystique into the current Alternative Rock milieu.

Columba Livia is a Alternative Rock group based out of San Francisco, California. The group consists of  songwriter Christine McCann (Vocals/Guitar), Joshua Studebaker (Drums), and their newest member  Erinn Wilkerson (Bass). Since 2015 they have been gigging throughout the San Francisco Bay Area playing in clubs such as Bottom of the Hill (San Francisco) and The Golden Bull (Oakland). Early this  year they celebrated Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco.
